Return at any other place in Costa Blanca for a surcharge of €25
Traffic offenses such as speeding tickets, parking fines and towing that happen during the rental period are the tenant’s own responsibility.
How do I pay?
You pay when you pick up the car. You can pay either cash or with most types of credit cards.
When do I get the confirmation?
From the time you submit your booking, it normally takes 2 working days for you to receive an answer. Weekends and holidays are not considered working days.
Pick up and delivery at different destinations?
If the car is returned to a destination other than where the car was delivered, there will be a surcharge of €25. This applies to the destinations Alicante airport, Murcia airport and the Torrevieja area.
Where at the airport is the pick up point?
You will be met by one of our representatives at the relevant airport. Look for your name in the Arrival Hall.
Can I take the car out of Spain?
No, the rental car cannot be taken out of Spain.
When can the car be picked up?
The car can be picked up at the airport between 07:00 and 22:00. Cars handed over outside this time will be charged a fee of €28.
How old do I have to be to rent a car?
You must be over 22 years of age, and have had a driver’s license in over 2 years to be able to rent a car from us.
What happens if the flight is delayed?
When the car is booked we also ask for your flight number, so we know if the flight is on time. If you should be extremely delayed please inform us of this by SMS. You will not lose the car if the flight is delayed.
Child seats
For cars in group 0 (0 – 10 kg) a baby seat costs €5 per day and a maximum of €50.
For groups 1 and 2 this will cost €4 per day, with a limit of €40.
Baby cushion is free.
Are there any additional costs?
Fuel and insurance is not included in the price. All our cars are handed over with a half tank, where the price depends on the car size. If you order extras, such as child seats, GPS, etc., this will be additional.
Is the fuel in the tank refundable on return?
No. Fuel is not refunded, we therefore recommend that the car is returned with as empty a tank as possible.
Does it cost anything to cancel the car?
You can cancel the rental car right up to the day before departure at no extra cost. If canceled within 24 hours, you must pay €50.
What does the insurance cover?
All of our cars are equipped with hull insurance with a deductible share. This is in addition to the rental price. The customer is responsible for the damage in case of vandalism on the vehicle or incorrect use of instruments. Own share for any traffic accident where the tenant is responsible is €650. The deductible share for small injuries is €280.
If you want a “relax insurance” to avoid the deductible share, this will cost €15 per day in addition to the insurance and a maximum of € 240 for the entire rental period.
Will there be a surcharge for an additional driver?
Yes, there is a surcharge of €4 per day for additional driver, with a ceiling of €40 per lease. It is limited to 2 drivers per rental car.
Extension of the rental period
If you want to keep the car for a few days extra, just contact us and this will normally not be a problem.
Cleaning the car
Keep the cars as clean as possible inside. There is an additional fee of €60 if the car is excessively dirty.
How to return the car at Alicante airport
Please park your car at Parking Público, take the parking ticket at the entrance to the far right. Then drive up to the 5th floor where the car is parked. Lock the car with the trunk open – then put both the key and the p-ticket in the trunk and close again. Finally, check that the car is locked.
This is not covered by any insurance:
- Damage to third party or to the rental vehicle as a result of neglect or unjustified driving.
- Damage or loss of antennae, jack, warning triangle, vests, windscreen wipers, fuel tank lid, luggage compartment shelves and any other loose or fixed part of the vehicle.
- Damage to motor due to neglect.
- Robbery of the vehicle with keys in.
- Damage to the vehicle or persons resulting from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Speed ??or parking fines during the rental period are the responsibility of the vehicle’s driver. In the case of fines, €50 will be added to cover expenses in connection with the payment of the fines.
- Filling the wrong type of fuel.
- Loss / damage / theft of keys.
